With National Heritage listing, Block 19 Bonegilla has become part of the narrative of a nation; a must-visit place on any tour of historic Australia.
The origional complex was built as Bonegill Army camp during World War 1. It became the Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre in 1947, and until 1971 served as Australias largest and longest operating migrant centre.

Wonga Wetlands is a sanctuary for birdwatchers, field naturalists, photgraphers and bushwalking enthusiasts. An ecosystem of lagoons and billabongs, Wonga Wetlands is home to 154 identified bird species, a Wiradjuri campsire and ancient river red gums.
